Accutron watches have a long and storied history. Originally introduced in the 1960s, they have been gifted by US presidents, onboard NASA spacecraft, and installed on Air Force One.

The Accutron Spaceview 2020 was launched with a new technology and a new look. It combines the retro-cool aesthetic of its predecessor and a high-tech look reminiscent of a vintage circuit board. 

The breakthrough electrostatic motor and turbine system which drives the re-engineered Accutron is what makes it truly unique. We were tasked to create this video to visually communicate this innovative system as part of its high-profile launch. The animation was played on LED screens at industry exhibits to highlight the next-generation mechanism from the inside out.
